The bronze assortment is made of tin-zinc-lead bronze B555 (CuSn5Zn5Pb5), which is characterized by excellent castability, which, due to its properties, can work in a water environment.
Split bearings
The split bearing, due to its construction, allows for quick replacement without the need to dismantle the entire drive wheel. The use of this solution significantly affects maintenance costs and reduces the time needed for replacement by about 1/3. Split bearings affect work efficiency and guarantee greater smoothness of production. To a large extent, they reduce downtime in performing tasks, because they do not require disassembly of adjacent elements. This allows for optimization of work and reduction of costs related to unplanned breaks in the operation of the machine.

What is the pan used for
The shell is the outer part of the bearing in which the shaft can rotate. In simpler terms, it is a housing of the entire bearing, composed of two parts or a complete one. In the case of split bearings, the shell consists of two parts, i.e. a lower half-shell and an upper half-shell. After their connection, a bearing surface is created. Bearings due to high friction should be replaced regularly. The force acting on it after starting the engine makes it a particularly vulnerable element.
