Splined shaft with ball sleeve

Splined shaft with ball sleeve
A low-spline spline shaft with a linear sleeve is a simple and inexpensive linear motion system. In this linear bearing, the sleeve cannot rotate against the shaft, but can move along the splined shaft.

A splined shaft with a ball sleeve enables a combination of translational and rotational movements.

The raceway profiles and the device of the splined linear sleeve provide a certain angle of contact between the axis of the shaft and the axes of the balls lying in the plane of contact with the shaft. This provides better load distribution and greater rigidity as with angular contact ball bearings. The number of splines on the shaft is usually 2-8. The splined linear bushing has ball recirculation.

We supply splined shafts with ball bushings.
